Shepard’s beginning stems from William Goodman’s ability to convince the Shepard’s family to convert their leather tanning business located in a 5 story wood building here at 32 Henry Street into a public warehouse. The need for space was great so the Shepard’s family decided to expand the property to include 6 warehouses that totaled 355,000sqft. The Shepard’s family sold the business to William Goodman who ran the operations successfully 40 plus years. Today, Shepard’s LLC has gone through changes but continues to offer quality service at reasonable prices.

Shepard’s now operates 140,000sqft of space between 2 buildings at Shepard’s Corporate Park. We have the ability to receive customer’s product by rail or truck with a variety of material handling equipment. We have a robust Warehouse Management System (WMS) which operates in a 3PL environment keeping accurate controls of inventory. The WMS allows customers to view their inventory levels through a portal and run a vast number of reports. The WMS also has the ability to interface with customer’s marketplace platforms to allow for a seamless transfer of orders and data.
